I’m Debbi McCune, A Certified Dementia Doula, Certified Dementia Practitioner, And Certified Montessori Dementia Care Professional. More Than That, I’m Someone Who’s Walked This Path Personally, As A Care Partner To My Husband, Doug, Who Lives With Mixed Dementia And Alzheimer’s.

My Dedication To This Work Is Rooted In Lived Experience. Over The Years, I’ve Also Supported My Father And Both In-Laws Through Their Own Dementia Journeys, And I’ve Come To Understand That While Every Story Is Different, No One Should Have To Navigate Dementia Alone.

As A Dementia Doula, I Walk Alongside Individuals Living With Dementia And Their Care Partners, Families And Friends, Providing Guidance, Education, And Emotional Support, From Diagnosis To The Final Phase Of Life. Whether It’s Understanding Behaviors, Preparing For Transitions, Or Simply Having Someone To Listen, My Goal Is To Ease Overwhelm And Create Moments Of Clarity And Connection Along The Way.

With A Heart For Advocacy And A Deep Belief In Person-Centered Care, I Offer A Safe Space Where Families Feel Seen, Supported, And Empowered To Move Forward One Step At A Time.
