Training & Education
Understanding dementia changes how we support, communicate with, and walk alongside people living with the disease. The Quiet Path offers practical, person-centered education and training designed to deepen understanding, strengthen skills, and help care partners, family, friends, professionals, and communities better support the person living with dementia as abilities and needs change, while preserving dignity, connection, and personhood along the way.

Community Education & Training
Compassion begins with understanding, and understanding changes the way we care. My presentations and educational programs help organizations, faith communities, businesses, and community groups better understand dementia and the impact it can have not only on the person living with it, but on the community they live in.
Greater understanding can help reduce stigma and isolation and create communities where people living with dementia and those who care for them remain welcomed, connected, and engaged. When people living with dementia remain part of community life, the entire community benefits.

Professional & Continuing Education
Quality dementia care requires more than knowing the diagnosis. Professional education through The Quiet Path helps those working with people living with dementia and their care partners deepen their understanding of how the disease affects abilities, communication, behavior, relationships, and everyday life, and translate that understanding into better practice.
Programs are designed to strengthen person-centered skills, challenge assumptions, and provide practical approaches professionals can apply in their work. This includes recognizing the care partner as an important member of the care team while continuing to honor the voice, dignity, and autonomy of the person living with dementia. When we better understand the person behind the disease, we change not only how we respond, but how we care.
